Doors & Windows Takeoff Sample: Custom Two-Level Barn
An openings (Division 08) takeoff for a custom two-level barn with a loft, covering the first-floor plan, loft plan, and the window, door, and finish schedules with elevations.
- Scope:
- Windows: Counted 11 window types (W1–W11) by floor and tagged them to the window schedule: 13 on the first floor and 10 in the loft.
- Doors: 27 doors counted by size and type: 14 interior wood doors (2′-4″ and 2′-8″), 6 wood doors at 3′-0″, fiberglass doors (single and paired), and glass doors.
- Schedules: each count cross-checked against the window, door and room finish schedules, and against the window and door elevations.
- Tech: Bluebeam Revu.
- Impact: a schedule-matched openings count, so a door and window supplier or installer can quote straight from the takeoff.
